The Institute of Foreign languages and History of Veterinary Medicine ensures teaching of Professional Latin, Professional English, Professional German and Ethics of Veterinary Medicine. The teaching follows agreed plans of each faculty.
Another activities have been focused to the historical documentation and exposition concerning to the Czech veterinary medicine history. Organisational and research activities have been recently focused to famous veterinary personalities and their biographies and to the veterinary service development within years 1918 - 1938.
In the frame of co-operation with Association of veterinary surgeons the Institute used to perform every year celebration of the so called Golden Diplomas, the honour of graduants who had graduated 50 years ago.
