Information for Foreign Students:

How to apply to the study stay in University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno (further VFU Brno):

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary Medicine Programme:

The six-year-study-programme of Veterinary Medicine is very demanding. The study prosperity depends therefore on full mastery of Grammar school studies of Biology and chemistry.
Lectures are provided only in Czech language, the ECTS has been under development. The Veterinary Medicine Programme in English will be fully introduced and accredited in 2009.

Clinical Practice Rotation:

Due to limited capacity of specialised VFU Brno clinics foreign students are accepted in limited numbers for 13 weeks (approx. three-month period) for the Clinical Rotation only. Clinics accept only experienced students of higher years of study (4th, 5th, 6th), who had passed through Propedeutics.

Faculty of Pharmacy

Pharmacy Programme:

The study lasts 5 years, the prosperity expects proper knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics of Grammar School. Lectures are provided only in Czech language, the ECTS has been fully introduced. Faculty of Pharmacy accepts only highly experienced students (last years of study or doctoral students). Applicants negotiate and consult individually their intended study stay in concrete Departments.
