SOCRATES/ERASMUS Mobilities

Going-out in the lenght of 3 - 4, 6, 9 and 12 months come true on the basis of the Bilateral Agreements undrsigned for actual calendar year. The SOCRATES/ERASMUS mobilities are guaranteed by European Commission in Bruxelles. http://www.socrates.cz/

Bilateral Agreements:

VFU Brno signs the Bilateral Agreements with partner universities for the period of calendar year, exceptionally for 2 or more years. Regarding such Bilateral Agreements, mobility implementation and financial support is provided. Bilateral Agreements are undersigned on the official university level, neverthless, may be negotiated and performed also by menas of individual meetings and personal relationship.

a) Out-Going Students:

Application:
Interested person contacts his/her faculty Socrtaes/Erasmus co-ordinator to clarify preliminary conditions of going-out and possible host university according to the valid Bilateral Agreements. After the consultation he/she is allowed to apply request.
Requests of International mobilities are collected in Dpt. of International Affairs Brno.

Deadline – end of February

Scholarship per 1 months: 350 EUR

Faculty Co-ordinators:

FVHE MVDr. Miroslava Palíková, PhD.
FaF Doc. PharmDr. Miloslava Rabišková, CSc

Duties of Dpt. of International Affairs:

1. Valid Bilateral Agreemen
2. Going-out and Study Stay Financial support
3. Complete documentation necessary for Going-out and Study Stay Financial support
4. Contacts with the host university co-ordinator or contact persons
5. Financial Agreement and scholarship before departure
6. Final account and documentation for audit proces

Duties of faculty co-ordinators and their help out-going students:

1. Consultation and professional help with selection of study theme
2. Co-operation and co-ordination of everybody´s study case between VFU Brno and host university (ECTS, study interruption, individual study plan, terms of exams etc.)
3. Specification of documents as Transcript of Records, Learning Agreement and others

Duties of out-going students:
SOCRATES/ERASMUS request of mobility contains the following:

1. First name and Family name
2. Faculty and year of study
3. Personal and contact data (date of birth, home address, e-mail address, phone, handy etc.
4. Name of selected university according to the valid bilateral agreemen
5. Lenght of stay, selected period and term (summer of winter), in which interested person´s mobility should come true
6. Recommendation of home faculty (co-ordinator´s, Dean´s, Vice Dean´s, Discipline Guarrante´s (etc.) signature
7. Possible contact or relationship to the host faculty or clinic

Before departure the applicant signs the Financial Agreement between VFU Brno and Applicant. At the same time the applicant obtains the scholarhip in EUR, necessary for the needs of accommodation and others concerning to his living costs for the period of mobility.

Documentation to be overhanded after return:

1. Letter of Confirmation
2. Student´s Report

4. Learning Agreement

b) Out-Going Teachers

To request and apply the teacher´s mobility the same criteria are valid like the above mentioned students´ conditions.

Scholarship per 1 week: 500 EUR (to teach minimum 8 teaching hours)
