Rektor Veterinární a farmaceutické univerzity Brno vydává toto opatření, na základě Usnesení Vlády ČR ze dne 7. ledna 2021 č. 13, o přijetí krizového opatření, kterým stanoví následující.
Rector’s Measure on the epidemiological situation concerning COVID-19 effective from 11 January 2021
The Rector of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno issues this Measure, according to the Resolution of the Government of the Czech Republic of 7 January 2021 No. 13 on the adoption of a crisis measure stipulating that:
from 11 January 2021 the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences will switch to distance teaching in all study programmes, with the exception of examining and entrance exams in the presence of a maximum of 10 people in the room, individual consultations (only one student and one academic worker), all of this shall be done while observing the wearing of respiratory protective equipment, keeping a distance of at least two meters between each other, disinfection of hands when entering the room and other increased hygieneb measures.
The UVPS Brno Library and all indoor spaces of the UVPS Brno gym are closed to students.
Students-residents of the Czech Republic who also have other place of residence in the Czech Republic cannot stay in Kaunic's student dormitories until further notice. This restriction does not apply to foreign students, students who have been ordered to quarantine, and students who have been imposed work duties by the government pursuant to Act No. 240/2000 Coll., on Crisis Management and amending certain acts (Crisis Act).
The Rector instructs the Deans of Faculties, the Bursar of UVPS Brno and other managerial staff to ensure the compliance with this Measure and to carry out distance teaching for all students of UVPS Brno in such a way as to maintain the high level and quality of teaching and education at the Faculties of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.
The previous Rector’s Measure of 28 December 2020, Ref No: VFU/2020/8461 is no longer effective.
The Rector addresses students, academic staff and other workers of UVPS Brno with a request for understanding, a high degree of tolerance and a sense of belonging to the Alma Mater in this difficult situation and believes that it will be possible to manage the difficulties caused by the situation around COVID-19 as soon as possible and it will be possible to shift the teaching back to the standard form as it corresponds to the university beliefs of most academics and students.
