The courses Exotic Pets Medicine and Surgery I., II., and III. are made for veterinarians that are particularly interested in exotic medicine. The courses will consist of three days of intensive training. The Day sessions will include lectures and discussions regarding with modern endoscopy/imaging/surgery in exotic pets. The Day 2 and Day 3 sessions will be organised as wetlabs focusing on practical training, all steps will be under the supervision of the course masters. The lectures take place in the newly built Pavilion for small animal clinics (Pavilon klinik malych zvirat); wet labs will be held in Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic Brno (situated in the same pavilion).

Centrum Mendelianum představuje unikátní komplex založený na moderní koncepci postavené na padesátileté tradici výzkumu vědeckého a kulturního odkazu J. G. Mendela a interpretaci jeho idejí v kontextu aktuální vědy od regionální po celosvětovou úroveň. Centrum Mendelianum je zbudováno na třech nosných pilířích, které umožňují integraci aspektů vědeckých (Mendelovo vědecké centrum), popularizačních (Mendelovo návštěvnické centrum) a vzdělávacích (Mendelova interaktivní škola). Centrum Mendelianum je od roku 2012 lokalizováno v srdci Brna (Biskupský dvůr) v autentických prostorách Mendelovy vědecké společnosti, na jejíž činnost navazuje dnešní Moravské zemské muzeum. Propagace vědy a výzkumu v oblasti genetiky, molekulární biologie a příbuzných oborů je v Centru Mendelianum podporována také z prostředků fondů EU a státního rozpočtu ČR (VaVpI CZ.1.05/3.2.00/09.0180, OP VK CZ.1.07/2.3.00/45.0037). Veterinární a farmaceutická univerzita se na aktivitách Centra Mendelianum podílí jako spolupracující instituce.
