Rector's Measures concerning the Covid-19 epidemiological situation with effect from 1 March 2022
In relation to the loosening of protective measures associated with the risk of spreading COVID-19, I hereby issue the Rector's Measures concerning the following activities at the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno (hereinafter referred to as "VETUNI"):
Wearing respiratory protective equipment
Under the applicable emergency measures, all persons shall wear respiratory protective equipment in all indoor areas of VETUNI, unless a specified exemption is provided.
All persons shall wear respiratory protective equipment in all outdoor areas of VETUNI if 30 or more persons gather at the same time and in the same place at a distance of less than 1.5 m from each other unless a specified exemption is provided.
If, for health reasons, persons are unable to wear respiratory protective equipment, they shall provide a medical certificate as evidence; nevertheless, such persons shall be required to wear another respiratory protective device as specified in their medical certificate, except in cases where the medical certificate explicitly states that the person concerned cannot wear any respiratory protective equipment.
Teaching and consultations
All teaching, consultations, exams, etc. can take place in person.
Academic staff do not need to wear respiratory protective equipment during teaching.
Students do not need to wear respiratory protective equipment during teaching if they are seated.
Respiratory protective equipment need not be worn during testing and examining if the examiner and the examined person keep at least 1.5 m from each other.
For students participating in practical training and practice outside the VETUNI campus, the same rules as for employees within the particular workplace shall apply.
Lifelong learning courses
Lifelong learning courses can take the on-site form.
Academic staff do not need to wear respiratory protective equipment during teaching.

Final provisions
The implementation of these Measures is ensured at the VETUNI faculties by the Deans of the faculties, at CEITEC VETUNI by the director of CEITEC VETUNI, at the University Farm (UF) by the director of the UF, at the Kaunic’s Hall of Residence (KHR) by the director of KHR and at the Rector's Office and other parts of the university by the Registrar.
The previous Rector’s Measures of January 18, 2022, Ref. No. VFU/2021/1324 shall be repealed.
